Sunday with the PM - 15 March 2009

The Prime Minister's Sundays are typically full of visits to community events.  On the 15th of March, John was in and around Auckland and used part of the day - from about 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, to visit three significant events.  In video one, he opens the Running of the Bays event - this year, well over 75,000 participated.  In video two, he is joined by John Tamihare, Hon Paula Bennett and Hon Tau Henare in a visit to the 10th annual Tarara Day festivities at the Birdwood Winery Estate, Te Rangi Hiroa Park in West Auckland.  Tarara day is a celebration of the union of Maori and "Dalmation" cultures.  In video three, he visits the Kumeu Show in his Helensville electorate. The Kumeu Show is the largest A&P show in the Southern Hemisphere.

Most gratifying to see and hear our Prime Minister, moving so comfortably amongst our countrymen with such warm, humour and positive friendliness. especially enjoyed the value he made of our Philanthropy - as a national characteristic - grace in our Leaders makes for beneficial growth and strength of our healthiest comunities. Thank you for sharing these videos, too.
